Who is Chung Tsz Chung?
Chung Tsz Chung is an Investment Partner at ArkStream Capital, a Singapore-based venture capital firm founded in 2020 that focuses on Web3, AI, and digital infrastructure. ArkStream has invested in over 50 projects globally, with a portfolio spanning Asia, the U.S., and Europe. The firm actively backs early-stage ventures, having completed four new investments in the past year, and continues to strengthen its position as a bridge between Eastern and Western Web3 ecosystems.
Over the past three years, Chung has led ArkStream’s participation in several blue-chip crypto and infrastructure projects, including SEI, IO.NET, and Linera, and has advised or invested in more than 80 Web3 startups worldwide. His expertise lies in strategic capital formation and cross-border growth, particularly across Asian markets, where he helps connect founders with institutional and ecosystem partners.
Before entering venture capital, Chung worked in institutional finance and risk management, holding positions at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and Allianz in Germany. His experience spans global finance, blockchain ecosystems, and emerging market development — giving him a unique perspective on how decentralized technologies can power real-world economies.
Chung holds a B.Sc. from the University of Hong Kong, an M.Sc. from the Norwegian School of Economics, and an MBA from Lagos Business School, Nigeria. His academic and professional journey reflects his ability to operate across continents and disciplines — from finance to frontier tech.
At XMAQUINA, Chung will focus on strategic capital formation, exchange partnerships, and ecosystem expansion. He will play a key role as the DAO enters its next growth phase, ensuring robust project evaluation and alignment between governance, capital, and execution.
Q&A
What is your vision for the future of robotics, automation, and the decentralized machine economy?
I see a future where robotics, automation, and the decentralized machine economy are not only technologically advanced but are also financially inclusive, globally interconnected, and underpinned by transparent governance. I believe that projects like XMAQUINA can help catalyze real-world adoption by bridging finance, ecosystem partners, and community trust.
What drew you to the XMAQUINA DAO?
The opportunity to support something at the intersection of decentralized systems and real infrastructure. I’m particularly interested in helping guide the governance process, ensuring proposals are robust and well-structured.
I also see the chance to use my network and experience to help XMAQUINA scale effectively — especially now, as the DAO approaches its listing phase, where capital formation, partnerships, and exposure are especially critical.
In your view, what opportunities or challenges is XMAQUINA best positioned to tackle?
XMAQUINA has the potential to bridge decentralized finance with the physical world by enabling collective ownership of robotics and automation.
The opportunity lies in developing frameworks that connect capital, technology, and governance into a transparent system that supports sustainable growth.
The challenge, as with any emerging sector, is navigating regulatory uncertainty and fostering adoption but XMAQUINA’s structured governance and strong advisory network position it well to address these head-on.
