Introducing the DAO’s Contributor Leaderboard

The Contributor Leaderboard is XMAQUINA’s new coordination system for tracking and rewarding real work across the DAO.

It is the foundation of how contributors earn visibility, reputation and rewards across social activity, content creation, on-chain participation and bounty tasks.

This is V1 of the leaderboard. New features, functionality and additional layers of gamification will roll out over time and across seasons.

In upcoming seasons, contributors will also be able to unlock DAO Rank Badges, humanoid PFPs that represent rank, carry $DEUS allocations, and evolve through continued contribution. Higher badge levels unlock larger rewards, elevated status, and exclusive access across the XMAQUINA ecosystem.

Details on the badge system will be released as the campaign progresses. For now, the path is simple: contribute, climb the leaderboard, and earn a real stake in the robot economy.

How Rewards Work in Season 1

The DAO Leaderboard runs in seasonal campaigns, each one tracking and ranking contributions across content, DAO tasks, and on-chain activity.

Season 1 starts on December 1. The official end date will be announced on X toward the end of January.

At the end of the season, the top 100 contributors will earn a share of the $DEUS reward pool, based on points earned and final leaderboard rank.

The Season 1 reward pool begins at 500,000 $DEUS. This amount is not fixed. It may increase based on contributor participation, campaign performance, or major DAO milestones.

As momentum builds, so does the potential upside for active contributors.

Your Path To the Top 100

To climb the leaderboard, you need to contribute real value to the DAO. Every action you take is tracked, scored, and ranked. The higher your impact, the higher you climb. Here’s how to move up:

1. X Posts and Yapping
   Publish original, high-quality posts about XMAQUINA on X. Posts are scored based on relevance, reach and engagement. Only accurate, mission-aligned content earns. Low-effort or AI-generated content will be penalized.
   
   
2. Social Quests
   Lightweight actions that help grow the community. This may include joining calls, resharing content or completing awareness tasks that support campaign goals.
   
   
3. DAO Bounties
   Complete task-based work tied to real DAO needs. Bounties come with defined scopes, deadlines, and payouts in USDC or $DEUS. Contributors submit their work, and the winning entry receives the bounty payout. All successful submissions earn points toward leaderboard progression.
   
   Example Bounties:

• Design a new XMAQUINA merch for the DAO’s merch store. Winning submission earns 1000 USDC and leaderboard points.
  
  
• Build a lightweight dashboard to display staking and $DEUS liquidity pool metrics. The selected builder receives 10,000 $DEUS and leaderboard points.
  
  
• Create a 3-minute YouTube explainer introducing XMAQUINA and the DAO’s portfolio companies. The best video earns 5000 USDC and leaderboard points.
  
  

4. Onchain Actions
   Participate in verifiable on-chain activity such as staking DEUS, voting in governance, or providing liquidity to DEUS DEX pools. Both activity and volume contribute to your score.
   

Guidelines & Code of Conduct

The leaderboard is designed to reward meaningful participation. To keep the system fair and credible:

• Content must clearly reference XMAQUINA or the $DEUS token and be grounded in factual, accurate information.
  
• Spam, low-effort or AI-generated filler will be penalized
  
• Artificial engagement (e.g. bots or inflated stats) can lead to disqualification
  
• Abnormally high engagement rates may trigger a manual review
  
• Only posts with measurable reach are scored, up to five per day

The scoring algorithm is private, but actively monitors for quality and fairness. Manual reviews are in place to reward authentic contributors and prevent gaming.‍
