Alongside the transition to Governance V2, XMAQUINA is introducing Humanoid Cards. It offers 1,111 limited edition digital trading cards claimed by staking DEUS.

The Humanoid Thesis

XMAQUINA was built on a single thesis, that access to the humanoid robotics sector should not be reserved for institutions and insider networks.

The DAO has spent the past year laying the infrastructure to back that thesis. The treasury has deployed capital. The RCM protocol is in development. DEUS Labs has incubated its first project Robotico, and now, governance is transitioning to its next form.

Why Governance V2 Changes Things

Most DAOs start with the same model. That being, one token, one vote. Simple to understand, and deeply flawed in practice.

When voting power is determined purely by token ownership, governance becomes a target. A well-resourced actor can acquire a large position, pass a proposal that benefits them, and exit immediately. No long-term commitment required. No alignment with the ecosystem. In its worst form, this is a governance takeover.

The vote-escrow model solves this. Participants stake DEUS to generate xDEUS, a non-transferable governance token. Voting power is not just a function of how many tokens you hold. It is a function of how long you have held them. The longer your position remains staked, the greater your governance weight. Short-term actors carry little influence. Long-term believers carry the most.

The result is a governance system that is harder to attack, better aligned, and built to reward the people who are committed for the long term.

Which is exactly the point. The people who supported XMAQUINA from the start, who participated in the Genesis Auctions and acquired DEUS during the DAO's capital formation phase, get first access to Humanoid Cards. Not because they were lucky, but because they believed first. The cards are the permanent onchain record of that commitment.

What Are Humanoid Cards?

Humanoid Cards are limited edition digital trading cards on Base, claimed free by eligible wallets based on their DEUS staking balance. Only 1,111 will ever exist.

Each card represents a humanoid robot from the XINA Universe, a fictional near-future setting where 17 manufacturers compete across five continents. Every card carries its own name, tier, manufacturer, stats, and place in the lore.

Humanoid Cards are DAO Rank Cards. They signal status, contribution, and weight within the XMAQUINA ecosystem.

Each card represents an early participation in the governance-led robotics ecosystem. A permanent, onchain credential for contributors who committed capital before scale. As the ecosystem expands, that rank may carry increasing relevance.

What privileges attach to it over time is not predefined. The card establishes the rank. Governance defines what that rank unlocks.

The cards are not sold. The only requirement is a staked DEUS position. Claiming yours is free, costing only network gas. Once minted, the card is permanently yours and freely tradable on OpenSea on the Base network.

Three Tiers. One Collection.

Cards are organized into three classes based on your DEUS staking balance at the time of claiming. Your staked position determines which tier you are eligible for. Within each tier, individual cards are randomly assigned.

The tier you mint reflects the size of your commitment. That is by design.

How Claiming Works

1. Stake DEUS

Lock your DEUS tokens in the governance escrow contract on Base. Your staked balance determines your eligible tier.

2. Connect your wallet.

Visit humanoid.cards and connect your wallet. The smart contract reads your staked balance automatically.

3. Claim your card.

If your wallet meets the minimum staking threshold, you can claim. One card per wallet. First come, first served. 

Governance Rank, Defined by the DAO

Humanoid Cards establish rank. What that rank unlocks over time is not predefined. It is determined by governance.

As XMAQUINA grows, the DAO may choose to recognize card rank in new ways. Structural access, eligibility layers, governance pathways, enhanced participation rights, or mechanisms not yet imagined. The card locks in your position. The community decides what it means.

Rather than overpromising utility, XMAQUINA is letting governance determine how rank is recognized as the ecosystem matures.

Staking DEUS puts you at the center of how XMAQUINA grows.

When you stake, your position generates xDEUS, your governance weight in the DAO. The longer you remain staked, the greater your influence. Voting power starts with a base multiplier and grows up to 12x after 12 months of continuous staking. Commitment is the currency.

As part of the transition to Governance V2, 1,000,000 DEUS has been allocated to a staking incentive program, distributed linearly over a fixed 90-day period. The program begins on May 18 at 13:00 UTC.

These incentives are allocated across xDEUS holders based on their multiplier-weighted participation. Because emissions begin immediately while the staking pool grows over time, early stakers share rewards among fewer participants, resulting in a larger share of the initial distribution.
